My Great Aunt Marjorie

I have only had strawberry  pie once in my life. I was about 9 years old. My Great Aunt Marjorie from Nova Scotia had come to visit us in Bramalea, Ontario. I lived on the eleventh floor of an apartment building. Apartment 1108. While my Great Aunt Marjorie was staying with us she baked two pies. One was a strawberry and rhubarb pie. It was okay. You see them for sale all the time. Or at least all the time that strawberries and rhubarb are available. The other pie she baked was just strawberry and it was the most wonderful pie I have ever eaten (and I ate most of it). I have never had a just strawberry pie since. I have never seen a just strawberry pie for sale. I am 43 years old.
The other reason I remember the time my Great Aunt Marjorie visited is because some jerk decided to fill the freight elevator with boxes and light it on fire. We had to put wet towels around our door to keep the smoke out and we were all really scared.
